Partner Demo & Sandbox Org Options

Options for Demo & Sandbox orgs for CX Index Partners

Demo Org

CX Index demo orgs will give you the ability to play around with a “live” platform that automatically populates with fresh data daily so that you can show your customers what a live installation looks like.

The demo org has preconfigured surveys, case management rules, NLP categories, social listening and various formats of reports.

Once you have your demo org set up, your team can not only play around with it to get a hands-on feel of the platform, but you can also invite your interested customers to log in and have a look for themselves.

Step 1: Contact CX Index to request a demo org
CX Index will create a demo org for your business in our MCP (master control panel). It can be ready. This will only take a few minutes to create. You will just need to give CX Index a list of people from your organisation who should receive an invitation to log in.

Step 2: Genesys Integration
You have several options to integrate your CX Index demo org with your Genesys Cloud environment.

The integration enables all permissions to view and manage CX Index from within Genesys Cloud. The app can be enabled as a drop-down in the Genesys Apps menu, and you will have single-sign-on so there is no need to access CX Index via URL.

Option 1: Self Managed
You can follow the steps outlined here to integrate CX Index with your Genesys org. It requires 2 steps - adding CX Index to Genesys Cloud and then adding Genesys Cloud to CX Index.

Option 2: CX Index Assisted
Someone from the CX Index team will hop on a call with a member of your team to walk you through the various steps to complete the integration during a shared screen session. The session should take under 20 minutes from start to finish to complete the walkthrough of the integration.

Option 3: CX Index Managed
Create a new user with Admin permissions in Genesys Cloud for a member of the CX Index team. Then we can configure the integration for you from end to end.

For the demo org, the integration is optional, as you can always access the platform via URL, but we recommend it if you’d like to show your customers what a CX Index integration would really feel like.

Sandbox Org

Alternatively or in addition to the demo org, CX Index can also provide you with a Sandbox org. Rather than being pre-populated with data, this org will be a blank canvas so you can experiment with what setting a customer up from end-to-end really feels like.

A great benefit of the sandbox org is that you can even create your own surveys to send to your customers so you can analyse customer experience for your organisation.

Pros and Cons of a Demo Org vs a Sandbox Org

Luckily, you don’t have to choose and you can have both, but the table below outlines the pros and cons of each option.

  Pros Cons
Demo
  • Easy Genesys integration
  • Data input daily, so the dashboards are always fresh
  • All settings and features already configured for you
  • Difficult to mix real data you might want to create with the demo data
  • Demo data that isn’t always perfect
Sandbox
  • Easy Genesys integration
  • Blank slate so you can learn to enable a configuration from start to finish
  • Great for creating your own surveys and survey data
  • Totally customisable to suit your specific clients requirements, just like a live installation
  • If unused, the tables, graphs and reports will remain empty
  • Learning curve with setting up features and functionalities
